How to post a new job and what the job statuses mean in Hirechain


Posting a Job

Before posting a job to Hirechain please make sure you have completed the following forms on your Company Settings:

Company Profile

Your company profile is where you display your company's branding, location, team size and other key details that will inform the network about who you are.

Hiring Preferences

The Hiring Preferences tab in your Account Settings allows you to streamline the recruitment process. It contains various options covering:

  • Communication preferences
  • Location requirements
  • Default Interview settings
  • Salary Visibility

Once these are complete you can create jobs in Hirechain or speak to your Account Manager.

When creating jobs in Hirechain you can either:

  • Save as draft - Keep working on your job posting
  • Submit to Hirechain - When you're ready for candidates, submit it to Hirechain. This will update the job's status to Client Preview where Hirechain will review it before publishing it to the network.

Job Statuses

StatusDescription
Client PreviewThe job is only visible to client users and Hirechain for refinement. It has not been pushed to the network yet.
OpenThe job is open to the network to receive referrals and applications.
PausedThe job is available to the network but has been deprioritised. This could be because an offer has been made, the client is unresponsive or wants to prioritise other jobs.
ClosedThe job was not filled by Hirechain and has been closed.
FilledA candidate from Hirechain was hired.
