At Hirechain, we're building a trusted platform that connects companies with exceptional talent. This Code of Conduct ensures our referrers maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. All referrers must adhere to these guidelines to maintain platform access.

Candidate Interactions

Consent and Privacy

  • You must obtain explicit consent from candidates before submitting a referral on their behalf. However, if a candidate applies using your referral link, their consent is implied, and no additional steps are required.
  • You must inform candidates about the specific company and role you're referring them to.
  • All candidates receive our Privacy Policy via email and have access to their application status as well as a link to the job description. This email will mention that you referred them.
  • From this point, the candidate can withdraw their application from the process if they do not want to proceed or did not give their consent.
  • If a candidate withdraws their application and tells us you did not get their consent you may lose access to Hirechain.

Communication Responsibilities

  • Maintain open communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Provide timely updates and feedback about application status
  • Support candidates through the interview process
  • Communicate unsuccessful outcomes professionally and constructively

Professional Conduct

Company Interactions

  • Do not contact companies or hiring managers directly
  • All company communications must go through Hirechain's established channels
  • Direct contact with hiring managers violates our terms and will result in immediate platform access removal

Platform Engagement

  • Respect our recruitment team's process and timeline
  • Avoid unnecessary follow-ups on application status
  • Provide updates (e.g., candidate availability changes or competing offers) by commenting on the referral
  • Trust our experienced recruitment team to manage the hiring process effectively

Professional Representation

Identity and Relationship Clarity

  • Never represent yourself as a direct Hirechain employee
  • If you intend on adding Hirechain to your LinkedIn please list it as "External Freelance Talent Sourcer"
  • Do not claim to be a partner or representative of the hiring company
  • Be transparent about your role as an independent referrer

Quality Standards

  • Submit only high-quality, relevant candidates who match the location and hiring criteria
  • Thoroughly evaluate candidates before referring them
  • Build your reputation through consistent quality submissions and adhering the Code of Conduct

  • Quality referrals contribute to tier advancement opportunities
  • Higher tiers offer increased earning potential and additional features
  • Maintain professional standards to qualify for advancement

Compliance

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Restricted platform access
  • Tier level adjustment
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent platform removal
