Managing Companies

You have full control over which companies appear on your job board. Here's how to manage company applications and maintain a curated job board.

Approval Process

When a company signs up via your invite link, they require approval before their jobs appear on your board.

Reviewing Applications

1. Go to the Companies tab in your Job Board Portal
2. New applications will show as "Pending"
3. Review the company details
4. Click Approve or Reject

Approval Criteria

Consider these factors when reviewing company applications:

• Is the company genuinely part of your network?
• Does the company align with your community's values?
• Are their job listings appropriate for your audience?

Removing Companies

If you need to remove a company from your job board:

1. Go to the Companies tab
2. Find the company you want to remove
3. Click Remove

What Happens When You Remove a Company

• All of their jobs are immediately removed from your job board
• The company loses their connection to your job board
• They can no longer post jobs to your board
• This action takes effect instantly

Reasons to Remove a Company

• Company is no longer part of your network
• Inappropriate or irrelevant job listings
• Company requested removal
• Company violated your community guidelines

Curation Best Practices

Maintain Quality

• Regularly review your company list
• Remove inactive companies that haven't posted jobs
• Ensure all companies still align with your network

Handle Disputes

If a company disputes their removal:

1. Explain your reasoning clearly
2. Offer a path to reinstatement if appropriate
3. Contact Hirechain support if you need assistance

Stay Proactive

• Set up a regular review schedule (monthly or quarterly)
• Reach out to companies that signed up but haven't connected their careers page
• Keep your job board fresh and relevant
